ValueGreenSlips.com.au (the "Site") is an online service owned and operated by Value Greenslips Pty Ltd.

Please read these Online Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Site. By using the Value Greenslips online Site, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you choose not to be bound by the terms and conditions, Value Greenslips does not grant you the right to use the Site and you must not use this Site.

Variation

Value Greenslips may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any variations become effective on posting. By making a purchase through this Site after the terms and conditions have been varied, you agree to be bound by the variation.

General Terms and Conditions

Greenslips are sold by Value Greenslips as agent (intermediary) for the greenslip insurer ("CTP greenslip insurer") responsible for the relevant greenslip. ALL CLAIMS ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CTP GREENSLIP INSURER AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Value Greenslips HAS NO LIABILITY TO YOU.

The following conditions are for sale of greenslips (including any resale or subsequent assignment)

• No refund or exchange on any greenslip except as required by law and as otherwise specified by the greenslip insurer. If a refund is made, Value Greenslips may, to the extent permitted by law, retain any fee it has charged.
• Issuing of greenslips may be refused if correct registration information is not supplied. In case of refusal, Value Greenslips will fully refund any payment made towards a refused greenslip.
• Customers must allow adequate time for delivery of greenslips electronically or otherwise. Methods of delivery will be available when choosing your collection/delivery details.
• GST will apply to all goods and services supplied through this Site. Prices in this Site include GST where applicable.
• You have a duty to disclose all relevant information that may affect the greenslip insurers assesment of the risk and the associated premium that they will charge for the greenslip. This duty of disclosure includes your responsibility to notify us of any errors you notice in the documentation at any time before, during or after you register your vehicle.

CTP prices are subject to change

Please be aware that quoted prices may change within the period of your quote. This is due to Insurers' prices changing continually throughout the year.

It is possible that you may receive a quote, and then a few hours later the price may change before you have purchased your CTP Greenslip.

Despite our best efforts to update your quote before you pay for your CTP Greenslips, there will be occasions when you will be asked to pay an additional amount. This can be due to differences in the timing of the prices changes on the Insurers' system and Value Greenslips receiving notification from the Insurers.

Given that there is a statutory requirement that CTP Greenslips can only be sold for the authorised amount as published, you will be asked to pay the additional amount before your CTP can be processed.

Greenslip Processing Times

Although we attempt to complete the processing of your greenslip promptly, there are times that this will not be possible due to events outside our control, i.e. internet service unavailable, incorrect Information supplied, mismatches with information currently stored at the RTA and greenslip insurer etc. When these happen, we will make all attempts to contact you to to keep you informed to the progress of your greenslip using your supplied email address or any other contact details provided by you.

RTA Demerit Points Check & Special Terms & Conditions

If you have previously indicated that you have not lost any demerit points on your NSW Drivers Licence, you will be requested to enter your licence details. This information will be transmitted to the RTA who will verify that your demerit point status entitles you to the zero demerit premium. If the RTA records do not correspond to the information provided, a greenslip insurers standard premium will be applied. At this point we will contact you for a standard price payment.

If you think the verification of your demerit point's status by the RTA on a greenslip insurer's system is incorrect, you can check your exact demerit point status at www.rta.nsw.gov.au/myrta/myrecords.

Demerit Points Validation and Privacy Assurance

To provide you with the best possible greenslip premiums, greenslip insurers may need to collect some personal information. Value Greenslips as agents of greenslip insurers fulfils greenslip insurers assurances on their behalf. Value Greenslips would like to assure you that your privacy will be protected during this process.

The request for personal information will be for the following purposes:

• To verify your current driving history in regard to "demerit" points status; and for
• The purpose of determining your eligibility for a zero demerit premium.

Any information collected will not be used for any other purpose, importantly:

• We will not store your driver licence information on our databases for any future use or reference.
• We will not disclose your driver licence information to any third party except greenslip insurers through their system and any other systems where eventually this information gets nullified after use.

Special Terms & Conditions - RTA Demerit Points Check

If the registered owner of the vehicle has a current NSW driver's licence, a greenslip insurer may prompt us to request your permission to disclose your drivers license details to the RTA. This is done to verify your zero demerit status. If you want to obtain the zero demerit related greenslip premium, you will need to give a mandatory permission to an authorisation statement that may look like the following.

"I authorise the Roads and Traffic Authority to disclose to the relevant greenslip insurer my demerit point information for the sole purpose of the greenslip insurer determining the premium it should charge me. I understand that this will be done via a yes or no confirmation and that the greenslip insurer will store this confirmation."

You may also receive a greenslip insurer's message from us if a greenslip insurer's system changes/rejects your greenslip quote as a result of mismatch between the information you provided us and the information stored in the RTA system. The messages may look like the following:

Premium Has Changed

Your greenslip premium has changed because you indicated that you do not have a current NSW drivers licence. We are unable to give a zero demerit premium to drivers who have licences from other jurisdictions/states.

OR Premium Has Changed

Your greenslip premium has changed because the demerit point information disclosed by the RTA does not agree with the information that was entered on the Quote.

The greenslip quotes are based upon the details provided and the greenslip premium includes all levies and GST. Should any details change then the greenslip premium may change.
